GOD'S PROVISION FOR DIVINE HEALTH. 3John 1:2

God is interested in our health and vitality. He wants us to know that His perfect will for us is that we be in health.
1. God made us in his own image and after his likeness - Genesis 1:27.
What is God's image?
The image of God is the image of health. Sickness does not dwell in God. He cannot be weary. He is always working, refreshed all the time. Thus, if we are created in the image of God we must be strong and healthy as he - Psalm 121:4.
2. God made man with no instruction or direction regarding illness or sickness nor for its cure or treatment. Genesis notes that God created man to have dominion. Disease is anything that reduces your ease in life. You are not meant to be a victim of affliction.
Biblical examples of those who lived in health:
1. Adam lived for 930 years and the was no record of his ever being ill - Genesis 5:5.
2. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all passed on in their good old age.
3. Jesus functioned aggressively and tirelessly without breaking down for once. Matthew 15:32 - Jesus preached for three days without stop.
Jesus gave his followers the mandate to occupy till his return. This gave us the power to live in the fullness of this divine mandate and power.
Exodus 15:26 - God is the one that heals us.
Psalm 103:1-3 - God is the one that heals ALL OUR DISEASES.
Jeremiah 30:17 - God promises to restore our health and to heal our wounds.
How to experience divine health
1. Possessing scriptural revelation on divine health what you don't know you cannot apply. It is the revelation of the word of God that guarantees our deliverance from sicknesses. John 8:32 - You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Acts 10:38 - Jesus went about doing good.
2. Operate in faith. Let the revelation you get from the scriptures convince you and then walk in the light of that conviction.
3. Don't nurse any sickness.
4. Be expectant of divine healing.
5. Curse any sickness you notice in or around you and they will die. Note that Christ cursed a fig tree which was not operate in its created order and the fig tree withered.
Conclusion
Man was not designed for sickness. As it is with God so should it be with us his children. If our God never breaks down and has never been sick then sickness has no place in your life.
