YOUR PASSION AND DIVINE DIRECTION
SCRIPTURE: Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. – Psalm 37:4
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.
It is an established fact that where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.
While we were growing up spiritually, there was a fire-brand
brother who wanted to go into ministry. He felt that the best place for
him to start the ministry was Lagos state, Nigeria. So, he went to Lagos
and started a ministry. After a while, he closed down the ministry in
Lagos and later relocated to Port Harcourt to start afresh. In Port
Harcourt, it still did not work, so he moved to Abuja within a short
period of time. You know, all these happened as a result of lack of
direction from God.
Beloved, life is too precious to gamble with. Many people have
gambled into marriage and gambled out because they had no time to seek
the Will of God for their lives.
Beloved, one of the easiest ways to know the Will of God is to be
passionate for God; convince God that you are not ready to make a move
until you have heard from Him. When you are at this point, God will put
His desires in your heart.
Remember this: where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Insist on the Will of God for your life; never take a step without God’s direction.
2. Never allow the pressures of life to influence your decision.
