Distraction has been identified as one of the devil’s strategies in
robbing us of access to our inheritance in God. satan hinders our
prayers from being answered by causing various distractions in life,
especially, at the place of prayer.
Blind Bartimaeus showed a good example of how to ignore
distractions. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he began to cry
out for mercy. Many people tried to distract him by asking him to shut
up, but he refused to be distracted; he shouted the more.
So, one of the ways to receiving answers to prayers from God is by
an undistracted desire and pursuit; it is coming to the point where you
pursue what you want at the place of prayer, allowing no one to distract
you from receiving it. Your prayers are answered when you refuse to
listen to any devil, medical report, witch, wizard or the negative
opinion of men. It is having a laser beam focus and bulldog tenacity
that guarantees answers in prayer.
Beloved, maintain focus in prayer and you will see answers to your prayers.
