THE POWER OF GOD’S PRESENCE

SCRIPTURE: Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters. Psalm 114:7-8

 

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Presence of God is the trigger for change. 

 

The Presence of God is the most powerful force on the face of the earth. No one can fail in anything he does if God’s Presence is his normal atmosphere of habitation. The reason for the abundance of frustration in our world is that many people are living outside God’s Presence.

 

Now, what are some of the products of God’s Presence? 

 

1. The Presence of God is the key to change. 

 

It is not possible for God to be in a place and nothing changes. Peter was toiling all night and caught nothing, but when Jesus stepped in, change was instant because the Presence of God is the trigger for change (Luke 5:1-7).

 

2. The Presence of God is the atmosphere for miracles. 

 

Anywhere God is present, the supernatural is natural. Carriers of Divine Presence are never miracle seekers; miracles follow them.

 

Beloved, if God’s Presence is the main pursuit of your life, then miracles will become natural around you. So, make God the fulcrum of your life, ministry and business; and you will know no failure.

 

Remember this: The Presence of God is the trigger for change.

1. Avoid the lifestyle of sin.

2. Maintain an atmosphere of praise and worship around you.

3. Obey whatever God commands you to do.
