GRACE CELEBRATION 2016
Wednesday 14th December 2016
I AM A TERRITORIAL COMMANDER! Genesis 1:26-28.
By Pastor. Timothy Benedict.
God
created man to have dominion on earth, man was meant to have dominion
over everything on earth, but lost it after he disobeyed God, but thank
God for the death of Christ which has brought us back to our default
state of dominion.
Note:
1. Man was
not created to be controlled by things or circumstances, but to control
it. Man was not created to just occupy space, he is meant to make impact
on earth.
2. Every child of God has an
allotted territory. When God created man, he placed a seal from heaven
which guarantees his dominion on earth.
Deuteronomy 2:24 it's time for us to arise and take what belongs to us! Deuteronomy 9:1-3.
3.
That a territory is yours does not make it come to you without a fight,
We are created to make meaning and add value to the world.
God cannot give you a territory you are not willing to fight for.
Your life and destiny must count!
What is a territory?
A territory is an area under the control of an authority.
A major characteristics of territories is that they have gates and the gates have keys.
What are the keys?
1.
Understanding and definition of your territory - Joshua 14:6-7.
Understanding where your territory lies is the starting point for the
complete possession of your territory.
2. Develop a vision - Jeremiah 1:12. A vision is a mental picture of a desired future. Work with the vision and prepare yourself with your vision in mind.
3. Acquire knowledge, gather all informations you will need to be a real territorial commander.
4. Create value, make an impact, affect lives positively.
5. Develop a strategy of attack, you must plan to take over - Ecclesiastes 10:15.
6. Engage in strategic thinking - Luke 19:1-6; Mark 2:1-5. You can't never take a territory with a dysfunctional mind
7. Renew your mind - Romans 12:1-2; Philemon 1:13.
8. Engage the force of positive confessions - Matthew 11:23.
