THE POWER OF FAITHFULNESS
SCRIPTURE: A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Proverbs 28:20
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faithfulness at your current level is what qualifies you for promotion to the next level.
Faithfulness is one of the most rewarding virtues on earth. A
faithful man abounds with the Blessings of God and receives favour from
God.
Unfortunately, faithfulness has become one of the rarest and
scarcest virtues on earth today. It is so scarce that the Bible says in
Proverbs 20:6, Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a
faithful man who can find?
Nevertheless, there are faithful people like Daniel as the Bible
records in Daniel 6:4...forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there
any error or fault found in him.
What then is faithfulness?
1.Faithfulness equals undivided loyalty and attention towards God.
2.Faithfulness is absolute and unwavering commitment to God and man.
3.Faithfulness equals consistency of character.
4.It equals trustworthiness and dependability.
5.Faithfulness means performing according to expectation.
What are the blessings or rewards of faithfulness?
1.Divine placement in authority: Anyone who is faithful must be positioned in authority (Genesis 39:4-6).
2.Divine promotion and progress: Faithfulness at your current level is what qualifies you for promotion to the next level.
3.Divine provision, welfare and comfort.
Remember this: Faithfulness at your current level is what qualifies you for promotion to the next level.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1.Make a personal decision to be faithful in your dealings with your fellow men.
2.Keep the company of faithful people.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to be faithful and to say NO to every form of compromise, in Jesus’ Name.
