THE PEACE-ENFORCING POWER OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: Behold, I give
unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. – Luke 10:19
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anywhere power is invoked, provoked and enforced, peace is established.
In our world today, there is an escalation of satanic wickedness
because the enemy knows that his time is short (Revelation 12:12).
Therefore, every child of God ought to be alert and connect to God in order to survive and excel in times like this.
Despite the outrage of the enemy, the power of God remains the key to victory in the battles of life.
It is important to note that there are different kinds of powers;
that is why Jesus said ‘I give unto you power…over all the powers.’ The
power of God is the power that is above all other powers.
Anywhere power is available, peace is established. Power makes
peace to happen by force. That is why soldiers who go for peacekeeping
operation do not go to beg for peace; they go with armoured tanks to
enforce peace. No wonder they are called peacekeeping force.
So, it takes force for peace to reign. Anywhere power is invoked, provoked or enforced, peace is established.
Are you in need of peace in any area of your life? Connect to the Power of God through a deeper relationship with Him.
Remember this: Anywhere power is invoked, provoked and enforced, peace is established.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Search the Scriptures and discover the power that you have been given as a child of God.
2. Approach life with a battle-ready mentality.
