THE PRAISE OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: …And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always… John 11:41-42

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Praise is the highest calling on earth.

Faith is the act of believing and acting on the promises of God in order to enforce the manifestations in one’s life. Simply put, faith is acting on the promises of God with conviction as though they have come to pass in our lives. The praise of faith is praising God in advance for what you believe He will do in your life.

The praise of faith does two things:
1.The praise of faith celebrates promises as realities: For a man of faith, the promises of God are as good as reality.
2.The praise of faith praises God to communicate confidence in the ability of God to intervene: Faith praises God even in adverse situations (2 Chronicles 20:1-25).

Now, how do we carry out the praise of faith effectively?

1.Praise God in the beauty of Holiness: Your praise can only be acceptable if your life is clean and free from guilt.
2.Praise God with focus: Leave all your burdens and worries behind and focus on God as your Source.
3.Praise God unconditionally: Praise is the highest calling on earth. We are duty-bound to praise Him because God created us to praise Him.

Remember this: Praise is the highest calling on earth.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1.Ensure that you live a guiltless life in order to praise God acceptably.
2.Praise God despite confrontations and circumstances.

PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to praise You at all times. Thank You LORD for the future you have prepared for me in Jesus’ Name.
