CONNECTING GOD’S POWER FOR DESTINY FULFILMENT

SCRIPTURE: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 1 Peter 5:6

 

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The powerfulness of God is revealed when the helplessness of man is recognised. 

 

Our God is a mighty God; He is the Almighty (agidigbacious) God Whose Power cannot be quantified. He delights in showing forth His Power.

 

The Power of God is what is needed for destiny fulfilment. The Power of God is behind the making of powerful men and the sinking of every devil that stands against the fulfilment of God’s purpose in their lives.

 

God manifested His Power to Jacob and turned his life and destiny around (Genesis 32:28).

 

How, then, do we tap into the destiny-moulding Power of God?

 

It is by expressing our helplessness before God.

The Powerfulness of God is revealed when the helplessness of man is recognised. 

In Luke 18:10, the Bible gives us an account of two men who went into the temple to pray; the first person, a Pharisee prayed proudly recounting all the good things he had done but the publican cried and said, “Be merciful unto me a sinner’. You see, the publican was helpless and humbled himself before God, and so God helped him.

 

Beloved, those who humble themselves are the only ones qualified to access the Help of God. 

 

Remember this: The Powerfulness of God is revealed when the helplessness of man is recognised.

 

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Ask God for the manifestation of His Power in your life.

2. Repent from every proud character that has shut you out of God’s Power.

3. Humble yourself before God in prayer and study of the Word in order to connect His Power.

 

PRAYER: O LORD, show forth Your Power in my life. I ask for the grace to remain humble and helpless in order to access Your Power, in Jesus’ Name.
