WHO ARE YOU?

SCRIPTURE: “…for the tree is known by his fruits.’’ Mathew 12:33.

 

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Our actions confirm our character.

 

Our anchor scripture reveals that our actions confirm our character. In other words, what we do and how we behave is what really shows who we are. This means that, who you are on the inside will sooner or later manifest on the outside. 

 

It is possible for people to tell from our lives, actions and steps, our state of heart towards God. From the physical texture of the soil, a farmer can know whether it is good for cultivating a particular crop or not. 

 

In the same manner, from the observation of our lives, people can know who we really are. Our character can be known from the way we do things; it is easy for people to know if we are dedicated to God or serving Him wholeheartedly. It is not possible for someone to love God unnoticed. It is not possible for someone to be passionate about God without being noticed.

 

Beloved, donate yourself to the service of God. Let people know that you are a genuine lover of God by the way you do things. 

 

Remember this: Our actions confirm our character.

 

ASSIGNMENT(S): 

1. Build a strong character by meditating on the Word of God daily.

2. Shun every appearance of evil; live a positive lifestyle.

 

PRAYER: O LORD, help me to manifest a godly character. Give me the grace to represent You positively on earth in Jesus’ Name.
